Be transported to the 1870s in Ghosts of Biloela - a geo-locative interactive drama inspired by the real-life Biloela Reform and Industrial School for Girls on Cockatoo Island.
Follow the adventures of Mary Anne Meehan, the newest inmate at Biloela, as she plans her escape from the island and the tyrannic rule of the heartless Superintendent Lucas with the help of her new friend, Sarah Bourke. Despite the bleak conditions under which they live, the girls and their fellow inmates find comfort and strength through friendship and solidarity - and raising a little bit of hell.
As you explore the ruins and remains of the Biloela girls school on Cockatoo Island, your phones GPS will trigger parts of the story. The path you take is up to you. If youre away from the island, you can still experience Ghosts of Biloela in armchair mode.
